B.Jackson, Alexander, Blair, Baker, Hesr lop, and ~W. Bamber. . . '. • Minutes.— The minutes of the pre- • • vious meeting were read and confirmed. Accounts. — All accounts in connection with the association were passed ■ for payment. Finance. — The secretary laid a pro forma estimate before the meeting showing a balance of £43 4s 3d of assets over liabilities. Special Phizes. — The following matters in connection with the special • prizes were decided : — The £2 Is given • ' by Mr Howe for the best farm cart was ordered to go to the funds of the association. — It was agreed that Messrs Russell and Duri.e should divide Hamilton and Bennies prize for the best pony in classes 37, 38, and 37.— A150 that Messrs Baker and Allison and Mr Craig divide "Willis and Jones' £2 2s for the best filly in classes 24 and 25. — Also that Messrs Bams and Higgie's £3 3s for the best pen of fat sheep, be divided. Mr P. Bell's £1 Is for the best greyhound lapsed, as there was only a second award and it was specially entered. Paying off the Debt. — Considerable discussion took place upon this subject. Ultimately it was resolved on the motion of Mr F. B. Jackson, seconded by Mr Alexander, That a donation list be opened to pay off the debt, and thai
