.The following is a statement showing the amount of Customs duties collected at the port of Wanganni, in the colony of Now Zealand (accordinfr to the several heads of revenue undermentioned); from the first to the thirty-first day of October, 1882, both days inclusive :—

The beer duty for the above period was £229 ia - .6d, '■ Shipping Bepobt. , The following is tbe number and tonnnge of vessels entered and cleared at tbis port during the month of October : — I Inwards; Steamers, 36; tons, 3313. . . Sailing- vessels, 3; tons 348. Total, 39 vessels, tons, 3661. Out words. Steamers, 36 ; tons, 3313. Sailing vessels, 2; tons, 178. Total, 38 vessels ; 3491 tons. -
