No ontry will bo received for any race except upon this condition — that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing, shall be decided by a majorityof the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. All entries to be sealed and addressed to the Hon. Secretary, Box No 12, Waverley ; entrance money enclosed (exchange must be added to cheques), with the name, ngeattimeof entry, pedigree, and, in. case of handicaps,' the performances of the horse, name of the owner, and colours of the rider. Any jockey riding except in colours entered will be fined 3 soys. When two- or more horses start, the property of the same owner, a distinguishing colour must be worn. In all weight - for - age races the new weight- for-age scale will be adhered to. All persons intending to withdraw horses are required to give notice to that effect to the Secretary or Clerk of the Scales one half - hour before starting. . Any person neglecting or refusing to comply with this rule shall pay a fine of 5 soys to the race funO. ' All races to be run under the W.J.C. Rules. Horses walking over will only receive half the stakes, Qualification fee for non-members, 1 soy. In all races the second horse only saves his stake, when it is especially stated that he does so. No entries or nominations will be i eceived under any pretence whatever after the specified time' for closing.
