North Island ore enormous, and it is equally well known that such profits hove up to the present time been confined to the capitalist' alone ; be. cause of the many, obstructions arising from the lawß relating to native lands, and to the large ex-■Dßnditare'ot-money required for- purchasing the same. The Auckland Native Lands Colonisation Company (limited) 'presents to small investors advantages' identical with, and in excess of those enjoyed at present only by capitalists, the shares baring been fixed so low that men of small means may be placed* on thesame footing as thecapiNo'more fitting opportunity than the present couldbe seized for the purpose of attaining the obiects aimed at by tt.is company, because :— _ J i s t. The quantify of fertile Crown Lands in the North Island at the present time available for settlement i* insufficient to meet the demand, ' 2nd. — The -Government have ceased operations in purchasing native lands, , ■ 3rd, The natives owning land' in the King country are almost unanimous .in their desire to bring their valuable lands under the operations of the land Court, and dispose of them to Europeans. " • . • 4*l, —It is confidently anticipated that the 'Government will favour the establishment of this Company, which will go far to relieve them from all anxiety about providing for the future wants of the natives. This Company will. place all land acquires under "The lands Transfer Act," so that the «tle will be" indefeasible, and it will then be able to dispose of, the same afgreat advantage. 1 The Sid will be. sold for cash, or on deferred pay Jnents, or'aisposed' of in the manner most cor Scive to the interests of shareholders. . . " Under these circumstances, it is believed thai ttia establishment of the Auckland Native tandi Company (limited) will provide to the natives the 1 • readiest and mosi beneflcw method of placing their .lands for sale, lease, o, settlement. Ihe ever-increasing demand foi Kids in New Zealand amongst all classes o colonists and intending emigrants from Grea Britain, the rich quality of the lands in the Kin, country, the fact that they are within easy accesi bTrainrom Auckland, their suitability for oocu TOtion, and their annually-increajing value, ar, SJSSderations which, present to investors a pro posSof remuneration unequalled probably by an; proposal ever submitted to the public, for Shareß will be received by th PetrcWy, at his offices, Port street, until TOES DAT, the Slst October, 168 i.
