Savanaka went on the sand track for two miles in 3min 41|sec, the last mile being done in lmin 41sec, which is a very good performance. Cunnamulla did a serviceable gallop, and Sweet William, Gudarz, and Santa Claus did a good mile and a quarter, the first-named finishing: well. The settling on the Derby is satisfactory. Navigator has been scratched. Sweet William has advanced in favour, and 100 to 40 has been offered about him.
