(Received 4.10 p.m., Oct. 27.) Octobe- 27. Acceptances for the Derby closed at 11 a.m. to-day. The follownig eighteen horses remain in :— Boolka, Frying Pan, Aide-de-Camp, Caluia, Debater, Gamin, Guesswork, H. "W. Hobart, King of the Vale, Lanercost, Navigator, Queen Bess,' Sir John Stirling, Segenhoe, Standard Bearer, Transferred, Trumpeter, Major. ' Prometheus has been scratched for the Cup. ! (SPECIAL TO PRESS ASSOCIATION.) ; (Received Oct. 27, 2 p.m.) All the Adelaide and Sydney horses have arrived. Prometheus is reported to have gone wrong. Guesswork has been doing good work, 1 and this morning did seven furlongs very fast.- He is now at 100 to 12 (taken). Frying Pan did a mile at full speed. His price is 100 to 10 (offered). Darebiri, Lord Burghley, Savanaka, and Segenhoe did strong gallops. For the Darby, Navigator's prioe is sto 4. He is much wanted at 6to 4. About Boolka 100 : to 8 has. been taken, and 100 to 25 about Segenhoe. Little Jack, Sting, and Sweet William remain at 8 to 1; Mistaken and Cunnamulla 10 to 1 ; Savanaka 100 to 5, (taken) ; Santa Claus and Stockwell, 100 to 4 (taken); Ths Drummer 100 fe> 3 (offered). . , ■ I
