Segenhoe is firmer in the market, and 180 to 30 is offered, and 100 to 25 has been taken. About Navigator 7 to 4is offered, and 2 to 1 taken. Guesswork is quoted at 100 to 12 (off). Against anything else the odds run from 20 to 1 to 10 to 1. For the Cup, Sting has risen to 100 to 18 (tak). Sweet William, Cunnamulla, and Little Jack, 100 to 10 (tak) ; Savanaka 10J to 12 (tak), and 100 to 10 (off) ; Mistaken, ICO to 4 (tak). The bets taken on Savanaka and Mistaken are in thousands. A rumour is current that Stinj has ' been sold to Miller, the bookmaker :md sweep promoter, for J3OOO. There is great excitement about this, as Sting has been very heavily backed for the Cup. * Mr Wentworth's horse The Drummer, which recently met with an accident by running a nail into his foot, is worse, aud his chances for the Cup are materially.affeotsd.
