• TO THE EDITOD. Sir,—l notice that in the leading article of ttrismorning's issue you state that "the prizes given by the Association are certificates." Will you allow me to remind you that the Association's prizes are:—ln horses, cattle, and sheep classes, champion prize i'3 ', first prize, £1; second prize, parchment certificate; and that they amount to a very large sum of money at each show. In the classes for pigs, poultry, and produce money prizes are given for first and second. In the advertised programme which appeared for a considerable time in your journal these prizes were offered.—l am &c. J. J. Cratooud, Hon. Secretary. Oot. 32, 1882.
