He took first prize at Richmond Agricultural Show in 1875, and first' prize for Provincial breds ia 1876-7, and first prize against all comprs. Aho, The highly-bred Carriage Sire, AIDE-DE-UAMP, Lately imported from Melbourne; he is six yeaTß old, and stands over 16 J bands. He gained four firet prizes in Victoria-, and was awarded second prize at the Victoria Grand National Exhibition at Sandhurst in 1876. He was bred by J. Howard, Esq., ot Melbourne, by the celebrated imported sire Governor, dam thorough bred mare Belladonna, by Warhawk, Governor, by Rifleman, dam by Brilliant, which shows that Aide-dc-Camp is descended from seme of the best blood in .the world.
