Unless plaintiff agreed to an adjournment, no notice could be taken of these telegrams. — Mr Hodge elected to gflLon with his case. — The claim was forlbi 8s Bd, commission on ? ( loan qf dE^OO, negotiated far defendant by plaintiff". Judgment was given for that amount, with 35s costs.— J. J. Crawford v. V. Watson ; claim, £2, for money lent. Judgment by default, costs Os. Defended Cases. — J. J. Wright v. J. Hoakins; claim, £18 4s 2d. Mr Burnett for plaintiff, Mr Hqdge for defendant. This w^s a cluirn for butcher's meat supplied. It appeared from the evidence that plaintiff had sued do fondant for £9 2s 4d for meat supplied in 1876, and now sued for meat supplied in IS7G. — His Worship decided that the case must be struck out, as the causo of action had been divided, — Janes v. 'Bhiok ; claim, £15, for money' lo'nt. ' Defendant did not appear, and judgment went for plaintiff for the amount claimed, with coats of Court 355, and one witnesso'a expenses
