THE RANGITIKEI ELECTION.
« The following are the returns from tho several polling. places in the district, with the exception of Tulaenui, wliiuh has not yet come to hand. It cannot, however, affect the result, except that it will probably increase the majority of Sir William Pox :—
Owing to some cause which has yet to be explained, we understand that the polling-booth atTurakina was not opened for forty minutes after the time appointed by law, and that some of the voters who had to leave by tho train for town were, in consequence, deprived of the opportuuity of recording their votes.
