i Mr Chadwick'a sale at Wangaehu of furniture, &c., will not take place, the matter at issue having been arranged. To-morrow, Mr J. Chadwick will offer a consignment of fancy goods, &c, direct from Sydney. Messrs L. L. Levy and Co. will sell by public auction, at. their rooms, in Victoria Avenue, on Thursday, the bankrupt stock of Thos. Palmer ; also, furniture and general merchandise. . ■ Mr Freeman R. Jackson will hold bis usual fortnightly sale at the St Hill Street Yards on Thursday, when a pony carriage and harness, fat cattle, store pigs, horses, etc., will be offered. Mr Jackson will also hold a stock sale at Waverley on Saturday. To-morrow, Messiß Barns and VVilson will ißell by auction, at their timbet yards, next to the Ship Hotel, the entire plant, consisting of engines, Baws, machines, benches, trucks, timber, &c.j of Messrs Scott and Patterson, timber merchants; and on Saturday, they will hold a sale of general merchandise and fancy goods.
