TJNDER the provisions of "The U Eating Act, 1876," notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Board to make a rate of one shilling in the pound on the rateable value of all property in the WanganuiWaitotara Highway District, for the year ending the 30th June, 1878, payable on and after the Ist of August next ; and that the Eate Book is open for inspection at the office of the Board, between the houi'3 of 10 a m and 4p m daily, to the 30th instant.
