(PEE. PRESS AGENCY.) WELLINGTON. Oct. 27. The Union Steamship Company have arranged to issue tickets at single fares from any part of the colony to members of Fire Brigades visiting the Dunedin demonstration. The appointment of Sir Julius Yogel to be Agent-General- for the colony appears in the Gazette, the appointment dating from 9th September, 1876. The tenders for the Wellington Waterworks Reservoir are as follows : — R. Dixou, of Auckland, £29,292 ; J. Sauur ders, of Wellington, £17,195 ; John Henderson, of Wellington, £25,915; J. Lockie, of Wellington, i.22,931 ; and W. F. Oakes, of Wellington, £21,862.
