Oct. 27. It was affirmed as desirable that the speeches of Maori members be published in Hansard in Maori and English. The Public Works, Lyfctelfcon Harbour, and Native Reserves Bills wero read a third time. The New Zealand Loan Bill, and the Disqualification Bill were read a second time and committed. A clause was added in the last Bill, exempting from disqualification Superintendents and members of Executive Councils, at the time of the complete coming into force of the Abolition Act. The Otago and Wellington Tolls Bills were read a second time.
