The following mails close on the dates | and at the hours as specified in the several intimations hereunto appended : — For Wangaehu, Turakina, Marton, Crofton, and Bulls, daily, at 1.30 p.m. For Taylorville, daily, at 9-30 a.m., and 1-30 p.m. Eor St. John's, daily, at _.30 p.m. For Wellington, per s.s. Stormbird, this day (Friday), at 2 p.m. For Nelson, Westport, G-roymouHi, and Hokitika, per s.s. Murray, this day (Friday), at 2 p.m. telegraphic notice. During the interruption of tho Batavia and aSingapore cable, steamers will leave Java for Singapore on tho mornings of the 27th and 29th October, and oth, llth, ISth and 25th of November.
