Stormbird, Captain Doile, sailed from Wellington on Thursday, at 6.30 p.m. Crossed the bar at noon yesterday, arriving at the -wharf at 12.45. Experienced strong northerly wind throughout. The p.s. Manawatu, Captain Harvey, left Wellington on Thursday, at 5.30 p.m., passing out of the Heads at 6.30. Experienced strong head wind to Kapiti; from thence till arrival, light head breeze, arriving off the bar at 8 o'clock yesterday morning. Crossed at 9.30, and made fast to the wharf at 10.
