LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL.
Oct. 19. Two new clauses were added to the Counties Bill on the motion of the Hon Dr Pollen, one empowering the Council to pay for work executed by Road Boards, the other empowering Councils to subsidize Road Boards for the purpose of public works.
