Dec. 9. PUBLIC NOTIFICATION. Superintendent's Office, Auckland, 3 1st Jan., 1874. "g^HE following Sections of "The Sheep J_ Act, 1863, Amendment Act, 1871," are published for general information. J. WILLIAMSON, Superintendent. 2. From and after the passing of this Act, no sheep in course of transmission without tha Province of Auckland, shall be landed iv any place withiu the Province without the written permission of the Inspector of Sheep for the District wherein such last- mentioned place shall be situate, or of some person duly appointed in writing in that behalf by the Superintendent. 5. Every person who shall, without the permission hereinafter required, land, or aid, or assist in any way in landing any such sheep in the said Province, shall for every such offence be liable to a penalty not exceeding One HuNuKED Pounds. .. ... ; 6. Every owner of any such sheep who shall land, or permit^ or suffer ' the same to be landed, before the same shall have been submitted to such examination, or before the charges payable under this Act shall have been paid, shall in either of such cases be deemed to have committed an offence against this Act, and shall on conviction be liable to a penalty not exceeding One Hundred Pounds.
