NOTICE rnENDERS in duplicate will be reX ceived at the Inspector of Stores Office, Wellington, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Wednesday, 23rd June, 1869, for the supply of the undermentioned Rations and Fuel and Light, in bulk, in the Wanganui Militia District, at such places and in such quantities as the Officer Commanding may direct, from the Ist July to the 31st December 1869, inclusive. The Ration to consist of— Bread, or Biscuit, lib Meat, lib Sugar, 2oz Tea, Coffee, |-oz Pepper, 1.36 oz Salt, tjoz The Scale of Fuel and Light to be the same as in force for the Imperial Troops. That, and the Conditions the Contractor will have to sign on his Tender being accepted, may be seen at the Militia Office, Wanganui, where forms can be obtained. The Tender to state the Rate per Ration, including the scale of Fuel and 1 the scale of Light. Also to state the I rate per Bread, Grocery, and Meat Ration separately, so that in the event of the Contractor supplying more ot one of these particular Rations than another during a month, he may be paid for those in addition to the complete Ration. These three items added together must not exceed the price of a full Ration. The Contractor, if required, will have to supply half (|) a pound of Bacon and a quarter (|) of a pound ot Biscuit in lieu ot one (1) of Mea;, but may tender at an extra rate for this particular Ration. The Tender must be accompanied by the names of two Sureties. Neither the lowest or any Tender will be necessarily accepted. EDWARD GORTON, Lieut -Colonel, Inspector of Stores. May 15. NOTICE.
