COMPLIMENTARY DINNER TO Dk. GIBSON, Previous to his departure for England * AT a meeting held in the Wanganui Hotel, on Monday, the 17th inst., Mr H. I. Jones in the chair, it was desided that a dinner be given to Dr Gibson on the occasion of his leaving Wanganui to proceed to England, as a public recognition of his past services and private worth. The dinner will take place on Friday evening. next, at 6.30 p.m., and friends desirous of being present on that occasion will please communicate with the undersigned before 6 o’clock on Wednesday evening. Each communication must positively be accompanied with the price of the ticket, which has been fixed by the managing committee at 25s per head. No ticket will be issued after the time mentioned.
