Chronicle Office, April 30, 1869. Mr It. S. Low held an extensive sale at Turakina, of stock of all descriptions. The following figures will give an average of the price realised :—49 head stores, half fat, £6 ; 30 do, superior, £7 ; 30 head young stores, £3 ; 38 head do, in good condition, £3 17s 6d; 200 mixed sheep, stores, ewes, and lambs, 4s ; 800 do, inferior, Is 8d; draught horses from £lB to £27. The bidding for the race horses was from £26 to'£2B, hut they were not sold.
