Council respectfully request a meeting of the Electors of the District, to afford the Members an opportunity of stating what was done on the last session of Q&uneil, and the Electors the means of expressing their views as to future action. The Meeting to be held in the Odd Fellows’ Hull, on TUESDAY next, 4th May, at seven o’clock p.m. April 27POPULAR LECTURES. THE next of this series will be delivered in the Odd Fellows’ Hall, on the evening of THURSDAY fii'st, 29 tb inst., by H. H. GODWIN, ESQ., Subject—- “ Great Impeachments, or Notices of the Trials of some Remarkable Personages.” T. B. Taylor, Esq., will occupy the chair. Doors open at 7.30.
