Beautiful Star arrived safely at her destination Port Chalmers, on the 12th mst The schooner A parima has been wrecked at Kakanui, in the Province of Otago. The three masted schooner, Lady Darling, entered the river on the afternoon of Sunday, 22 davs out from Port Philip. The s.s. Wanganui arrived m Westport on Fridav with a cargo of cattle, sheep, and pigs, consigned to Messrs Dick and Seaton. She left Wanganui at ten o’clock on Tuesday. Some hours afterwards it came on to blow heavily from the north-west, and she bore up for Croixelles harbour, where she took sheltei a eig o’clock on Wednesday morning, remaining there until noon on Thursday. Thence she came on under easy steam, arriving in the Duller on I uday morning; she left again on Saturday, and reached the wharf at noon on Sunday.
