To Stand this Season, the Thorough-bred Horse Bon Juan. (Better known in Wanganui as “ Don Jon” winner of the Wanganui Produce.) BON JUAN was got by Riddleswortli out of “llurder” by “ Sir Charles” out of a thorough-bred mare (the celebrated “ Miss Foote”) imported to New South Wales. DON JUAN will stand at Baldwin’s Lion Inn on Wednesdays and Fridays ; at the Rutland Hotel on Thursdays ; the remainder of the week at Wangaehu and Turakina. Terms—Single Mares £3 10s. Two or more Mares by one owner, as per agreement. Good accomadation for Mares at the Wangaehu. For further particulars apply at the Lion Inn. Payment to be made on the 15th January, 1864. ALEX. He is a dappled grey, stands seventeen hands high, and for bone and muscular development is unequalled in the district. Young Tkamp will be at the Lion Inn every Wednesday.
