Also, a few very fine Merinos, two-tooth. November 5, 1863. PARK PLACE . Valuable Freehold Property for absolute sale. Messrs. Gudgeon & Co. TXAVING received instructions from Mr. John Hogg, who is leaving for England, to dispose of his valuable Town Properties, together with his Stock in Trade, Household Furniture, dc. will offer the same at public auction on THURSDAY , the 26th inst., if not previously disposed of by private contract, of which due notice will be given. The Property is situate in Park Place, being Section No. 102, whereon is erected Three of the most substantial and picturesque COTTAGES in the settlement, commanding all the principal views of the up-river and surrounding country. This Section has, further, the peculiar advantage of possessing an unfailing spring of water of unrivalled purity. Cottage No. 1 (now occupied by Mr. Hogg) contains Five Rooms —one parlour, kitchen, two bed-rooms, and a large workshop, with frontage to Park-place of 34 ft. more or less, running back 75 feet. Cottage No. 2 (at present let for £4O per annum) contains Six Rooms: —namely, entrance hall, parlour, kitchen, and three bed-rooms, and has in addition a large wood house and other offices. This property has a frontage to Park-place of 24 ft. more or less, running back 75 feet. Cottage No. 3 is just newly erected, and for taste and ingenuity of design cannot be excelled. It contains large entrance hall, drawing-room 24 by 12, dining-room and parlour, kitchen, and three bedrooms, and is approached from Park-place by a road 6 feet wide dividing Cottages Nos. 1 and 2 ; surrounded by a Garden laid out with considerable taste and judgment, and containing the choicest collection of shrubs and flowers ; the orange-tree and American aloe is here seen to perfection. The sale will take place on the premises at 12 o’clock prompt TERMS CASH, but a considerable amount of the purchase money may remain on mortgage for a term if required. A One-horse Spring Hearse, with patent axles, &c. will also be offered to competition. Parties wishing to view the property may do so on application to the Auctioneers, or to Mr. Hogg on the premises. Taupo-quay, November 5, 1863. Notice.
