Thursday, 6 am. strong gale from nne. with rain ; 8 am. gale increasing, with a tremendous sea, bore up for Nelson ; midnight, arrived at Nelson. Left again on. Saturday with a moderate breeze from the northward ; 4 pm. when opening out. Cook’s Strait, the gale was still continuing ; put back again for Nelson, where she arrived at 9 pm. on Saturday. Sunday, landed all live stock. Monday, 10.50 a.m. left again with variable winds from the westward ; midnight, strong breeze, and varying from ne. to nw. ; 5 am. on Tuesday it blew a strong gale from the northward; 8 am. gale increasing with a tremendous sea aud barometer falling very much, ran back for Wanganui, where she arrived at 6 p.m.
