Presbyterian Church, Mataraua District. ■ Grant of Land having been made to the Presbyterian Chui-ch in the Mataraua on * which to erect a Place of Worship, &c. &c., a. Meeting of the Settlers in that neighbourhood will be held (D.Y.) in the School-house there, on the afternoon of Saturday, May 23rd, at 2 p.in., for the purpose of considering the erection of such a place of Worship shall now be proceeded with ; and, in that case, on what basis, consistent with its character, a Church should be constituted so as to be as unexclusive and unsectarian as possible. gregoe.
