Wheat, 5s 6d to 6s fid ; barley 6s fid ; oats, 6s ; maize, 6s per bushel. Potatoes, £5 to £6 per ton. Bread, 4 lb. loaf Is. Butter, wholesale Is 7d, retail ls6dto Is 9d per lb ; bacon, wholesale 8d per.lb. Otago, May 2.—The fat cattle by the Corio fetched £24 per head, and the prices quoted are for best quality 655, and for seconds from 50s to 55s per 100 lbs, and store cattle were in demand.
