Holloway's Ointment and Pills. —Throat Affections.—ln all cases of relaxed, inflamed, atfd ulcerated throats, safety may aLvays be secured . by rubbing Holloway’s Ointment upon the glands under the lower* jaw-,. Its curative powers may be accepted without doubt or distrust. In Diptheria the most marked success has attended its use, in cases where the disease threatened to run a fatal-course in spite of the ordinary treatment. The application of Hoi-; loway’s Ointment fits it well .for children’s ailments, where internal medicines can with difficulty be administered. When Pills cannot be swallowed without pain, they should be induced to a powder, and used conjointly, with thg Ointment, whose cooling, soothing, and healine. action they augment by their purifying powers
