Town and Country Lands. Sheep/ Cattle, and Horses. For Sale by Private Contract. Ist. nnHAT Valuable Town Acre, No. 96, sit1. uatfed in Abel Smith-street, Wellington adjoining the residence of Mr. Hickson, fenced in with a. close fence, and a small building erected thereon. This acre is admirably adapted for the erection of gentleman’s private residence, being in an elevated position and comman. ding a fine view of the harbour and shipping. 2nd. The Farm adjoining the Town Belt, known as upland Farm or Tankersley’s Farm comprising about 120 Acres; the whole being securely fenced in with a post and rail fence, and iron wire fence. A' good house, dairy, stock-yard, cow-sheds, piggeries, &e., are erected on the Farm, which contains abundance of timber for firewood and fencing. The Farm is held on lease for 21 years, only a few of which have expired, and is well suited for a Grazing or Dairy Farm. It has always produced about 30 tons of superior hay annually. There is now an excellent cart road to it from the Town, nearly completed, past the residences of R. R. Strang and Robert Stokes, Esqrs. There are about 60 head of Cattle (principally Milch Cows) and 1 Bull broken to single harness; also, 20 Horses and Mares, which will be sold with or without the Farm. Amongst the Horses there are the following thorough-bred Stock, viz.:— 4 Colts and Fillies, 4 yrs. old, by Australian. 1 Mare 5 yrs. old, by Riddleswortb. 1 colt (entire), rising 2 yrs. old, by the Bishop of Osnaburgh, by Surplice, Surplice by the celebrated Touchstone. 1 Brood Mare, aged. 3rd. The w T ell known Estate of Lake Alice,j Rangitikei, comprising 1600 acres of Freehold Liainl,' having two beautiful lnlico in tlio centre of it. The land, which has about 30 acres of Manuka timber, is partly fenced in, and about 300 acres laid down in paddocks. The improvements consist of a good fiveroomed House, Men’s Hut, Sheep Pens, Drafting Yard, Wool shed, Shearing Shed, &c. ALSO. 3000 Merino Sheep (including 44 Merino Rams), subject to their lease for 3 years, from the Ist January, 1862, for .€llsO. The Land will be sold with or without the Sheep. 4th. The Land consisting of 50 acres of superior Totara timber, fronting to DanielFs Bush Road, Rangitikei, and will be sold, if required, in one or more lots.
