The “Wanganui Chronicle ” is published Weekly, and forwarded by each Mail to every part of the Colony, and to Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Van Diemen’s Land, J3wan River, Mauritius, Cape of Good Hope, Great Britain and Ireland, the United States, India, & China. Terms of Subscription, Thirteen Shillings a half-year, or 11s 6d if paid in advance. Persons subscribing during the currency of a half year, .will . only be charged from the day of their commencing. The Price of Advertisements, is for 8 lines 2s. 6d., above Blines 3d. per line, or two shillings per inch; and half price for every subsequent insertion. The number of Insertions .to be stated on Advertisements, or they will be inserted until countermanded, and charged accordingly. L. & P. having discovered that several of the Foreign Markets 'have been supplied with Spurious Imitations of the “ WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE,” the labels of which closely resemble those of the genuine Sauce, and in one or more instances with the names of L. & P. forged, they have deemed it their duty to caution the Public, and request purchasers to see that the names of Lea & Perrins are upon the Wrapper, Label, Stopper, and Bottle. L. & P. further give notice, that they will proceed against any one who may infringe upon their right, either by.manu facturing or vending.such' imitations', and have instructed their correspondents in the various parts of the worlds to advise them of such infringements.'
