This will save considerable distance and expence compared with the ordinary route for Dunstan, Nokomai, &c. Apply to the Captain on board. October. 16, 1862. SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE. ARRIVED. Oct. 15, —Traveller’s Bride, 45 tons, Spence, from Dunedin.—ln ballast. Passengers— Messrs. Reid and Fraser (3). The Traveller’s Bride left the Heads on the 1 ltli, was becalmed all Sunday, passed Banks’ Peninsula about 4p. m, on Monday, rounded Cape Campbell on Tuesday at 3p-m.,was abreast-of Kapiti at 7p. m. same evening, and arrived at our wharf yesterday at 3p. m.
