TVTOTICE is Hereby Given that Tenders will be received at this Office until noon of Thursday, the 24th day of July, 1862, from persons willing to Contract for furnishing the Undermentioned supplies, in such quantities at such times, and at such places within the Town of . Wanganui, as may be directed by the undersigned, or by his successor in Office, during the period from the Ist October, 1862, to the 31st March, 1863, under the Conditions specified in the Wanganui Chronicle of the 2nd January and 20th February, 1862. Bread, at per lb. GROCERIES, Consisting of the following Articles , viz. : 1-6 o z. Tea I h „ Salt 1-3 „ Coffee, roasted f-at per Ration, and ground. 2 „ Sugar 1-36 „ Popper, ground.., The Tenders for Groceries to state the rate per Ration as above. Deliveries in packages of suitable sizes to he made to the Quarter Master or Acting Quarter Master of the Corps or Detachment daily. Articles ->f Groceries specially imported, or taken out of Bond for this service, will be free from Colonial'Duties. Each Tender to be in Duplicate, sealed in one envelope, and endorsed “Tender for ” as the case may be. A Tender once sent in cannot be withdrawn or altered Notice of the acceptance of a Tender will be given as soon as practicable, when the Contractor with his sureties will attend at this Office and complete the Bmd. Printed Forms of Tender.*, and any further information that may be required will he afforded on application at this Office. No Tender will he accepted, unless upon the Forms furnished from this Office.
