TO THE BENEVOLENT., • THE sympathy of the Public is invited on behalf of STEVEN ADAMSON, the Boy who unfortuuately lost his right Arm a few weeks since by a Thrashing Machine. The fact of his Father being Paralytic, with a young family, renders this appeal the more urgent. It is in. contemplation to place him at a School, where the tuition he receives may fit him for the situation of a Book-keeper. Subscriptions will be received at the Bank of New South Wales here; at Messrs. Taylor Watt & Co.’s Store, and ; also at the Chronicle Office. It is fervently - hoped this Appeal will not be in vain. When the Subscription is closed, a mee- j ting of the snbscribers will be held to decide , on the manner in which the money should be applied, ’■ !
