There will be a General Guverment Parade for No. 1 ami 2 Companies Wanganui Militia, ami No. 1 ami 2 Companies Wanganui Rifle Volunteers, at the Market Place, at 2 o'clock p.m., oil A/onday next the 30th Instant. ; By,order, Signed, ROSS, Lieut, ami Acting Adjutant. Militia Office, Wanganui, lsf September, 18G1 BY , virtue of, and in exercise of the authority in me vested, I, Isaac Rhodes Cooper, A/ajor Commanding the Wanganui Regiment of Militia, do hereby appoint ami declare, that the said Regiment or Battalion shall be formed into Four Companies, as follows, —namely. No. 1 Company, Shall be composed of men who reside between the Wanganui and Kai Iwi boundary line, who have volunteered, or may volunteer into that Company. No. 2 Company Shall be composed of men liable to serve in the Militia, who reside between the Wanganui river and Kai Iwi boundary line, who have not already volunteered into No. 1 Company of Militia or the Volunteer Force. No 3 Company, Hitherto known as No. 2 Company, shall be composed of men liable to setve in the Militia who reside between the Wanganui and Tulakina rivers. IBGJ. 1. —No. 2 Company of Militia will at[tend the General Parade of Militia and Volunteers on the last day of each month, at 2 o’clock p.m. at the Market Place. When the last day of the month is a Sunday, the Parade will take place on the Monday following. 2. —Men of the No. 2 Company Militia and of the Volunteer Force, who desire it, may attend parade at 2 o’clock p.m. on the first Friday in each month, at the Shepherd’s Hut, West mere, instead of attending Parade in town. 3. Capt. Kells’ Company of Militia will attend a General Parade at ('apt. Nixon’s on the first Friday in each month, at II o’clock a.m.

4.—lVlen of the Militia sufficiently advanced in drill will attend Ball Practice Parades once a fortnight. We hereby give ’■'otice, that bv Bill of Sale, dated the 4th day of April 1860, and made between Cornelius Campion of Ran* gitikei, in the Province of /Wellington, Sheep Farmer, of the one part; and we, the undersigned, Alexander Fraser and Fhomas Fraser, both of Malta, Sheep Farmers, of the other part; All that mixed Flock of Sheep, consisting of 2600 Sheep Marked with a brand in the shape of a Circle with a spot in the Centre, and also 200 head of mixed Cattle branded C.P.N. on the near Ribs, depasturing on the Run of the said Cornelius Campion at /fangitikei aforesaid, with the annual increase of snch Sheep and Cattle, were assigned by the said Cornelius Campion to us by way of mortatgage ; And which said Bill of .Sale was registered in the Supreme Court of New 2fealau<! at Wellington, the 11th day of April 1860.
