Cooper. 1 There will be no parades for Nos. 1 and • 2 Companies Rifle Volunteers till Monday, the First of July, on which day there will be a General Government Parade for the Militia; and Volunteers, at 2 o’Clock, p.m., at the Market place. Till further orders, one company of Militia or Volunteers, will be told off as a Fire Company. In event, of fire, the Fire Company will assemble without arms, and assist at the fire. The other companies will assemble at their respective alarm posts with arms and accoutrements.. 2. No. 1 Company Rifle Volunteers will be the Fire company till Sunday the 30th iust. inclusive.
3. The following Signal Flags wis be hoisted on the flagstaff adjoining the Rutland Atockade, in.case. it be necessary for the Militia or Volunteers, or both forces, to parade without previous orders,- —namely, for the Militia, a red flag with a white ball in centre; for the Volunteers, a red flag with a white cross. .. • r • •, 4.
