We, the undersigned, Electors of the [district of Wanganui, finding that Mr. Cameron, to whom a requisition has been got up ■by some of the Electors, has expressed his determination not to stand, and believing that, from.your great experience in New Zealand politics; your intimate acquaintance with all the great questions bearing on the welfare of this province and of the. country in general; yput i independence and ; freedom from the spirit of party; . your high and well known integrity, and your general popularity with the electors; you are not only competent to represent this constituencey in the House of Representatives, but would unite all parties in your support, and thus prevent the evils arising from a contest, beg most earnestly and respeotfully that you will allow yourself to be put in nomination as our Representative in the General Assembly 'at the approaching Election.- : s - - r .
