The Contractor to have constantly on band a supply equal to three months’ consumption. This stock must be always open to inspection by the Commissariat, and any Coal objected to on such inspection, must be removed, and be replaced by coal of a satisfactory quality. 3. Each tender sent in, iq consequence of this advertisement, to be accompanied by a statement signed by two competent persons willing to become securities for its due performance ; if accepted, the penalty of the Bond will be equal to the estimated amount of three months’ supply, and it is to be distinctly understood, that the sureties will be held strictly responsible for the fulfilment of the Contractor’s engagements; any failure in which will be immediately followed by the enforcement of the penalty of the bond. . 4.
