Palisading of the York and Rutland Stockades i * Having received instructions from COLONEL WYATT, Commanding at this Station, to Sell by Public Auction, the whole of the PALISADING round each STOCK* ADE. They will offer the same to Public Competition in Two Separate Lots, on THURSDAY, the 23rd instant, at 12 o’Clock, at their Rooms, Taupp Quay, under the following Conditions, viz.: — THE Palisading to be Paid for as soon as the last of each Stockade is pulled down in succession. Purchasers to Remove the Palisading as it is pulled by the Contractors erecting the New Palisades. The Bolts, Locks, Hinges, or any Iron Work attached, will be Sold with the Palisading offered. Strayed F72OM Turakina, about 3 months ago, an unbrauded Bright Bay or Brown belonging to the Bev.. Mr. Thom, Hutt. She was shod all round, had a /Thite star on her Forehead and small piece of' Rope round her iVeck. She is about 14 or 15 ,hands high, was reared from a Mare belonging to the late Dr. Rees, Wanganui, and is believed to be about 5 years old. Whoever will give to. the Rev.
