John Hugiies, Wholesale Druggist, Melbourne, that shall lead to the conviction of any person or persons vending, spurious imitations of Holloway’s Pills and Ointment. A power of attorney has been sent to Mr. Hughes, bearing date 9tli August, 1859. It appears that parties in Melbourne are either Manufacturing Holloway’s Pills and Ointment, or importing imitations •of the same from the United States; such parties, when discovered will be. dealt with according to law, in order to protect the public. The Genuine Ointment and Pills have engraved on the British Government Stamp the words, “ Holloway’s Pills and, Ointment , London ,” and if the little Books of direction wrapped round the medicines be held up to the light, the same words will be discovered woven in the water-mark of the paper. No,ne are genuine without these marks, and .without the Government Stamp. 7’he public of Australasia is respectfully invited to join with the Proprietor of these Medicines in his endeavour to trace out thoso who are practising this fraud upon them, and to give information of the same to Mr. John Hughes. ■ (Signed THOMAS HOLLO WAT.
