ARRIVAL. Jan. 6*—S. S. Wonga Wonga, 103 tons, Renner, from Wellington—Powell and Co. Agents. DEPARTURES. 7 — s. S. Wonga Wonga, 103 tons, Capt. Renner for Wellington—Powell and Co. 11 —Sea Gull, 60 tons, Fernie, for Wei* liugion—Taylor Watt, and Co. Agents. The manifests of these vessels will be given in our next. The Wonga Wonga arrived at Wellington from Wanganui- via Picton, 8 o’clock a.m. on Monday; she had several passengers from the latter Port, besides 3 tons oil and 14 bales wool. She again leaves for Wanganui on Monday or 2’uesday next. NATIVE PRODUCE. fVhe&t is very scarce and has advanced 6d. per bushel in price. Good samples being worth: at the present time 8s; per bushel. The natives entertain Berious fears for their Potato Crop this season ; the very early ones did well, but the latter crop upon which they all depend for food, is in most places entirely destroyed by the long continued drought, and as a forlorn hope they are now engaged planting a fresh crop in bush cultivations. Ahoni 60 bushtls wheat have arrived this week, picked in on horseback from the Waitotara districts. In our last weeks’ impression for 5240 bushels wheat read 2540.
