When first seen at the above place he was an entire, but he has since been castrated in consequence of biting the natives' horses. Apply to te Awa Puni as above. At te Pakipaki—a bay horse or inare (sex not stated), brand Xn. Ha 9 been running at the above place about two yearß. Apply to Penetiki Pokai as above. Two stray horses at Matahiwi near Clive—one a black mare unbroken, about 8 years old, white spot on forehead, no brand; the other a bay gelding, 4- or 5 years old, unbroken, no brand, small white spot on forehead. Both have been running upon native land some 2 or 3 years. Apply to Kingita at, the above place. At Omarunui, Tutaekuri, one chestnut colt, white face and white hind feet, branded WE ; (conjoined) one bay mare, white face and white hind feet, branded WE; (conjoined) one entire horse, light bay, without brand. The owners of the above horses will find them on application to Tewi at Omarunui near Pawhakairo.
