BOWLING CHAMPION SINGLES. (“Times-Age" Special.) One of the keenest games yet played in the champion singles took place last evening between Newbould and King, the former winning 19/18. Other games, in the champion singles resulted: Sorjensen beat Johnston, 24/17; Pankhurst beat Clarke, 23/20. Personal items. Mr and Mrs W. Henry Booth, who spent Christmas in Dannevirke, have returned to Carterton, Mr Bert. Lumley, who had been oh a visit to Carterton, returned to Wei? lington today. Mr E. Smith (Wanganui), is visiting Car ter ton.
