MORE SUCCESSES AGAINST . GERMANS ENEMY COLUMN DEFEATED HEAVILY. MUCH MATERIAL CAPTURED OR DESTROYED. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 9.45 a.m.) RUGBY, December 28. A. Yugoslav People’s Liberation Army communique states: “In the Groat province of Banija, German troops are retreating under pressure of Yugoslav units, tn Eastern Bosnia, heavy fighting continues near Kladnatj. A. German column, proceeding from Livnio, penetrated the town of Glamoc, but was repulsed and forced to retreat to Livnio, suffering heavy losses in killed and wounded and in war material, including one tank. ■ “In Croatia, an aerodrome was attacked in the vicinity of Zagreb. A three-engined enemy bomber was destroyed and a great quantity of war material captured. Near Turopolje a huge supply store and a bridge were blown up. In the ensuing engagement, 60 enemy soldiers were made prisoner and seven machine-guns and 50 rifles were taken. Near Velika Gorica a train was derailed.”
