STATE THEATRE
“THE DAY WILL DAWN.” | Tonight there will be presented another superb British, production, “The Day Will Dawn,” an outstanding picture pulsating with excitement, adventure, romance and wartime espionage. It tells one of the best stories ever brought to the screen, a series of most impressive scenes being presented in excellent photography. The chief roles are taken by Ralph Richardson (one of the best character actors on the screen), Deborah Kerr. Hugh Williams, Griffiths Jones and Roland Culver. It is a picture which patrons should not miss. There will be two sessions at the State Theatre tonight, one commencing at 8 o’clock and the othei at 10 o’clock, the latter terminating at 11.50 o’clock. On Saturday afternoon no pictures will be shown but on Saturday (Christmas) night a session will be held, commencing at 8 o’clock. A special matinee on Monday afternoon will commence at 2.15 o’colck.
