LOST IN GREAT RAID ON • SCHWEINFURT 346 OUT OF 581 PRISONERS OF WAR OVER 200 NOT ACCOUNTED FOR (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 12.45 p.m.) WASHINGTON, December 23. The War Department announced that of 581 airmen missing from the sixty Flying Fortresses lost in the Schweinfurt raid on October 14, 346 have been officially reported as prisoners of war. Eighteen are officially reported dead and 217 are not yet accounted for.
