“Swift,” the secret Polish radio station, reports a daring exploit carried out recently as a tribute to the late General Sikorski by members of the Polish underground organisation in a number of central Polish towns. At dawn on a certain day a German street name-plate was removed from one street in each’ town and a plate bearing General Sikorski’s name was nailed in its place.
