STATE THEATRE
“FRONTIER FURY” The high standard of the State Theatre midweek programmes is well known to picture patrons and the management are determined to uphold the reputation of this popular picture house in this connection. Despite the difficulty in obtaining continuous supplies of high grade pictures the management are able to provide the class of entertainment which the public demands. Tonight the programme will be headed by two outstanding dramas of the wide open spaces. “Frontier Fury” is the story of the West told amid appealing surroundings and with acting of a high standard. “The Riders of the North-West Mounted” graphically presents a page out of the life of those men who kept law and order among the most lawless of desperate men who are nearly always only one jump ahead of the law. There will be two sessions at the State Theatre on Friday night, one commencing at 8 o’clock and the other at 10 o’clock, the latter terminating at 11.50 o’clock. On Saturday afternoon no pictures will be shown but on Saturday (Christmas) night a suitable programme will be shown commencing at 8 o’clock. A special matinee will be held on Monday afternoon, commencing at 2.15 o’clock.
