BOWLING ■ MATCH FOR BRADY MEDALS. ("Times-Age” Special.) The game for the Grady Medals played at Grey town last evening was well contested, the first half being in favour of the holders, McLeod and Higgison. Brown and Smith, of the Masterton Park Club, then made a bold bid for victory, and scored on seven heads running, but were unable to make up the leeway. The winners of the progressive pairs competition were: —Skips: N. McLeod; leads, E. Maddison. The consolation prizes were won by F. Whisker and R, Robertson. The following still have two lives in the championship singles: W. Higgison, H. R. Feast, N. McLeod, R. Thompson, IL Wallace, G. Burns and J. F. Thompson. One lifers: E. Mad’ dison, H. Carter, J. Reid, S. Shedden, J. Coleman, J. Stringfellow, A. Thompson, E. Skeet, H. W. Feast, E. .Peter’son, J. Burden, H. McPhee, and D. Ferguson. The draw for the first round of the champion pairs (own selection) is:— Brice and Wallace v. Reid and Ferguson; Brunton and Larson v. Whisker and Woolf; Peterson and Stringfellow v. .Coleman and J. Thompson; Maddison and H. W. Feast v. Johns and A. Thompson; Pickard and Lane v. Burden and Kiernan; Demies and Higgison v. H. R. Feast and McLeod; McPhee and Burns v. Harrington and R. Thompson; Skeet and Connolly v. Shedden and Carter.
TOWN HALL “MR DAVIS.” The thrilling spy drama, “Mr Davis,” will be the principal feature at the Town Hall tonight. The chief roles are taken by Melvyn Johns, Nova Pilbeam and Basil Sydney.
